Defibrillator

The Seafarers Sailing Club has a defibrillator available for emergency use. This life-saving equipment is maintained to the highest standards and is accessible to all club members and visitors.

Location and Access

The defibrillator is located in the main clubhouse area and is clearly marked with emergency signage. It is easily accessible and available 24/7 for emergency use.

Emergency Procedures

In case of a medical emergency:

  • Call emergency services (999) immediately
  • Locate the nearest defibrillator
  • Follow the voice instructions on the defibrillator
  • Begin CPR if trained to do so
  • Alert club officials or staff

Guidelines for using the defibrillator and emergency contact procedures are clearly displayed next to the equipment.

Training

The club regularly organizes first aid and defibrillator training sessions for members. Contact the club secretary for information about upcoming training courses.
